Eclene Air

The body is oval, roughly the size of a small tablet, and it sits flat against the glass with a single rotating disc on the front. That disc carries a stretched microfibre cloth held in place by a plastic ring. A cluster of small lights near the top edge, orange, green, red, blue, signals charging state and motor status at a glance. This is the automatic window cleaner built by Eclene under the name Air, the entry point of the range.

Underneath the disc, a vacuum motor pulls the unit flush to the pane. The suction holds at 5600Pa, enough to keep the 950g body fixed to vertical glass while the two wheels rotate and walk the machine across the surface. A safety rope threads through a small loop at the base and ties off indoors, rated to 150kgf, a physical backup that sits alongside the electronic one.

On a first-floor window or a glazed door, the sequence looks the same each time. The device is placed against the glass, the fan starts, the wheels begin their pass, up, across, down, repeating until the frame edges are detected and the run stops on its own. No spray tank sits inside the housing here, cleaning relies on a dry cloth first, with a manual spray bottle for anything more stubborn.

How This Automatic Window Cleaner Grips and Moves Across Glass

Power comes through a cord at all times, this is not a battery-run device for daily cleaning. A built-in backup system takes over for twenty minutes if the mains supply cuts out, enough time to notice the flashing red light and pull the unit back by its rope. The motor itself is a brushed 72W unit, rated for 100 to 240V, so the same machine works across different regional sockets without a converter.

Three automatic paths are available, up-then-down, left-then-down, right-then-down, selected from the included remote. Remote Control Operation and What Comes in the Box

The remote works from either side of the glass, front or back, which matters on a window without a balcony where standing directly in front of the machine is not always possible. Stop, start, and the three automatic directions are each a single button press, with the four-way pad reserved for manual corrections mid-clean.

Ten cleaning cloths and four rings ship in the box, along with a spray bottle, the AC adapter, a four-metre DC extension cord, and the safety rope itself. Cloths wear down with repeated use, streaking is usually the first sign, and a fresh one restores the result rather than any adjustment to the machine.

It suits standard framed windows, indoors and out, on glass up to six metres high and five metres wide per session. Frameless glass and very humid days are the two conditions the manual rules out, moisture on the pane changes the friction the wheels depend on.
